For the first time, three short comedies are being released together in a single theatrical release. “greece 3.0” is a new project that brings together three different stories into a single experience—polyphonic, contemporary, and perfectly attuned to the present day.
Through three distinct directorial perspectives—michalis gigintis’s “100 years ahead,” ioanna kryona’s “planet balcony,” and “where you are and where you will go” by dimitris papathanasis—compose a cinematic triptych that navigates between humor, absurdity, and greek reality—as we experience it today.
To mark the announcement of the project, the official poster and trailer are being released today, offering a first glimpse into the world of “greece 3.0,” which is coming to theaters in june, distributed by tanweer.
100 YEARS AHEAD
Lakis, a private investigator, believes that his life is metaphysically linked to PASOK and Andreas Papandreou. One night, he locks Kostakis in his office and, through a journey through post-dictatorship Greece, tries to convince him not to sell the historic outdoor movie theater—which his family has maintained on the rooftop of the building where the two of them have been living together for the past few years—to a multinational corporation.
